Form K – Notice of Tenants’ Responsibilities
Section 146 of the Strata Property Act of British Columbia stipulates that if an Owner within a Strata Corporation wishes to rent his/her unit, the Owner must provide the Strata Corporation with the attached completed Notice of Tenant’s Responsibilities (FORM K), within two (2) weeks of renting. It is the Owner’s responsibility to send in a new FORM K when tenancy changes. Download Form by clicking the button below.
Notice to Vacate
The Notice to Vacate Form is an easy way to end your rental lease. Landlords or tenants in can use this form to communicate the date by which the rental property should be empty. For month-to-month leases (see the rental agreement for tenancies at will) most provinces will require at least a 30 Day Notice to Vacate. The Notice to Vacate could be given in the form of a 30 Day Notice to Vacate, 60 Day Notice to Vacate, or a 90 Day Notice to Vacate, depending on the circumstances.
